I might not have said it clearly, I'm not a Tanistry, I'm trying to peacefully get the Kingdom of Scotland which is. If you do pick to use tanistry make sure its male or female only for succession and make sure those extra potienal heirs do not make kids period by arranaging acciedents. With tanistry they often pick the idiot uncle instead cause they have bad rep with them so they can press their claims. As long you do not play mr tyrant you can usually pick who is heir is it be woman or man and do not care which heir you pick. Is there a peaceful way to take over the kingdom of Scotland while they are still a Tanistry? Or should I just wait until I've gotten the rest of the Kingdoms and try to steamroll them?
